What is BodyTite?
BodyTite and FaceTite are minimally-invasive body enhancement procedures for shaping, tightening, and lifting tissues. They use RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipoplasty) technology to produce surgical-grade results without the scars or the added downtime of traditional surgical lifts. BodyTite can be used to eliminate stubborn fat and lift and tighten the skin of the breasts, arms, back, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and knees. Additionally, FaceTite can provide dramatic contour improvements in the lower face and the neck.
Who can benefit from BodyTite and FaceTite?
Those who experience mild sagging due to skin laxity or pockets of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise can benefit from BodyTite or FaceTite to tighten and recontour their body. BodyTite and FaceTite offer a great alternative for those who are not yet ready for a surgical procedure, or whose concerns are not severe enough to require one. Patients can enjoy little scarring and downtime, but still achieve significant skin tightening in the face or body. BodyTite and FaceTite deliver effective, long-lasting results in just one treatment session.
What happens during treatment?
The procedure is performed by Dr. Eades in his office with the use of local anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Tiny incisions are made at the treatment area which leave behind minimal scarring. BodyTite and FaceTite then use laser-assisted liposuction techniques to liquefy and destroy fat cells while heating and tightening the tissue. This is achieved by a specialized handpiece that emits the RFAL technology to maintain the correct degree of heating during fat removal. Dr. Eades can perform BodyTite or FaceTite on multiple areas during one treatment session.
What is recovery like?
Results are typically seen 3-4 weeks after treatment and continue to improve over the course of 3-6 months. Depending on the treatment area, downtime can last anywhere from a couple of days to a week. Depending on the treatment area, some patients experience mild discomfort or soreness within the first few days, but this can be managed with the help of medications. Some swelling, bruising, or redness can occur at the incision site, but these dissipate depending on the extensiveness of the procedure. During a consultation with Dr. Eades, he can ensure patients know exactly what to expect during recovery for their unique procedure.
